  8. have tackled the subject of AIDS have lived all too quietly in
  9. small urban art houses. But that may soon change. The upcoming
  10. People Like Us brings the controversial cinema subject into the
  11. mainstream with an endearingly mainstream leading man. TOM HANKS
  12. will be featured in the Jonathan Demme film portraying an
  13. attorney infected with HIV. Hanks takes his high-powered firm
  14. to court when he realizes he's been fired because of his
  15. illness.
